Live Podcast at Chuckanut Brewery with John Holl

Well-known craft beer cookbook author and podcaster John Holl will be recording a live podcast at Chuckanut Brewery’s South Nut Tap Room on September 10, Saturday at 5 pm. The podcast will be recorded in front of a live audience in the taproom.  South Nut Tap Room is located across the road from the Port of Skagit Airport in Burlington, WA.

Mari and Will Kemper, Chuckanut owners and craft beer pioneers will be on hand along with neighboring Garden Path Fermentation owners Ron Extract and Amber Watts. The conversation will discuss John’s newest edition of his Craft Brewery Cookbook, in which Chuckanut beer and recipes are highlighted. Chuck Light, the beer featured in the book, will be on tap along with nine other Chuckanut beers. But there will also be a discussion of the state of the craft beer industry, lagers, fermentation, and wherever the conversation flows over 45 minutes. Village Books in Fairhaven will be on-site to sell John’s books and other beer-related books of interest to those in attendance.  This event is free of charge and open to the public.

John has been covering the beer industry as a reporter, writer, and editor for nearly 20 years. He is the editor of All About Beer and the on-air host for Drink Beer Think Beer podcasts.
